Description: (Reel 1) King George V and General Sir Herbert Plumer, commanding Second Army to which the two divisions were attached, are greeted by 30th (Old Hickory) Division commander, Major-General Edward M Lewis and his Chief of Staff Colonel John H Kerr, Rauchicourt, 6th August. A soldier places flags on the graves of Lieutenant-Colonel Morris H Liebman and 38 enlisted men of 105th, 107th, 108th Infantry, and 104th and 105th Machine Gun Battalions, all 27th (New York) Division. Wounded of the two divisions are carried by train to Base Hospital No 37, disembarking at the station. Men of Australian 1st Division, late September, entraining for a rest camp. One of two 12-inch railway guns of 471st Siege Battery RGA (probably 'HMG Boche Buster'). A column of German prisoners guarded by men of 115th Field Artillery, 30th Division, and 9th Infantry, 2nd Division ('racehorse brigades'). 75mm guns of 27th Division near Limey en route for Thiaucourt, 13th September. A British Mk V Female tank captured and recaptured in the Battle of Amiens displayed with its crew at Beauquesne on 16th September. Corporal L K Knowlson, HQ Signal Platoon, 105th Infantry, the first man of 27th Division to be decorated, at Doullens, 17th September. Men of 119th Infantry, 30th Division, marching through Péronne, 27th September. A dressing station for 30th Division near Villeret, 29th September. An Australian 9.2-inch howitzer firing. (Reel 2) 'B' Company, 105th Machine Gun Battalion and 108th Infantry, 27th Division, return through Ronssoy, 1st October. Staff of 54th Brigade, also part of 27th (New York) Division, posed in a car. Two British Whippet medium tanks of 'A' Company, 6th Tank Battalion, attached to British 32nd Division (not 30th Division as given) in the Joncourt area. American propaganda balloons being released at Templeux la Fosse on 8th October. German prisoners of 30th Division at Bellicourt on 8th October, and of 27th Division held behind wire. The entrance to the Saint Quentin Canal tunnel at Bellicourt on 9th October. 60-pounders of 1st Essex Heavy Artillery Battery in support of 30th Division near Bohain on 11th October. Field Marshal Haig, Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Bacon (ex-US Ambassador to France), Colonels Hazeltine and Fletcher ADCs, inspect the Saint Quentin Canal tunnel entrance at Bellicourt 15th October. A 30th Division first aid station at Lahaie Menneresse, Le Cateau road, 17th October. 3rd Battalion, 120th Engineers and Machine Gun Company, 105th Infantry, 27th Division, preparing to advance near Révière on 17th October. (Reel 3) 30th Division Engineers pass through Moslins, 18th October. Australian gunners enter Ribeauville on 19th October shortly after 30th Division took it. Major-General George W Read, commanding II Corps, with his Chief of Staff Brigadier-General George S Simonds, visits the US cemetery at Bony on 23rd October. Two wrecked Austin armoured cars on the battlefield. American troops display, at Corbei on 4th November, German body armour captured at Bellicourt. 27th Division marches past General John J Pershing, who addresses the officers. Lieutenant-General Sir David Henderson inspects the two divisions, awarding the DSO to Lieutenant-Colonel Hallahan of 27th Division and the "Medal of Bravery" to Sergeant Robert McCay (note the 30th Division 'football' sign on helmets and shoulder-flashes).
